Pedro Mercado, CRIS is Sr. Risk Consultant at IBTX Risk Services and a 15 years veteran of the professional services, banking and finance industries with particular concentration in the industrial service fields. Pedro has an extensive background in Enterprise Risk Management, strategic change management, startups, leadership development  sales management, HR compliance, FINRA, bank compliance,  PPACA, and group benefits.  Pedro has been asked to present on topics ranging from Business Funding, Enterprise Risk Mitigation, Social Media and Web 2.0, Business Networking, Sales, to Team Motivation and Leadership.

Pedro is a decorated former United States Marine who was distinguished by being selected from enlisted service to join the officer corps (MECEP). Some of his accomplishments include serving as Sr. Business Manager Boot’s & Coots Oil Field Special Services, Regional Manager Bank of America Japan as an expatriate, Senior Vice President Amegy Bank of Texas. He is very active in the small business arena in San Antonio having served as Chair of the Small Business Development Council and as Chair of the Membership Retention Committee of the San Antonio Greater Chamber.
